Zip Ride, LLC Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 30, 2025
Welcome to Zip Ride! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you” or “rider”) and Zip Ride, LLC (“Zip Ride,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, scheduling system, driver/employee portal, or transportation services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our Services.

Our Services
Zip Ride provides safe, accessible, and personalized transportation for individuals of all abilities. We connect riders with trained, insured drivers through our scheduling platform.

Not a Common Carrier: Zip Ride is not a taxi company, bus line, or common carrier.

Independent Drivers: Drivers are background-checked, insured, and trained, but they are independent contractors responsible for their own conduct.

No Guarantee of Availability: We do our best to provide dependable service, but we can’t promise that a driver will always be available.

Accessibility Disclaimer: Zip Ride will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility needs, but we cannot guarantee that specific vehicle types, equipment, or accommodation will be available for every ride.

Using the Services
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 to request a ride directly. Parents/guardians may schedule rides for minors.

Accounts: Some features (like driver/employee access) require an account. Keep your login secure.

Respect and Safety: Riders must treat drivers and staff respectfully, follow safety instructions, and use seat belts or child restraints as required by law. Service animals are welcome under federal and state accessibility laws.

Your Responsibility: Riders are responsible for their belongings and for complying with local laws during rides.

Payments
Charges: Charges for rides are calculated and processed after the ride is successfully completed. You authorize Zip Ride to process payment using the payment method you provided at booking.

Refunds: Payments are non-refundable unless required by law or decided by Zip Ride.

Tips: Zip Ride does not process tips. If a rider wishes to provide gratuity, that is done independently between the rider and the driver outside of the Zip Ride payment system.

Insurance Disclosure
Zip Ride maintains commercial insurance coverage as required by law. However, this coverage may not apply in all circumstances. Zip Ride is not an insurer of your personal safety, property, or belongings. Riders are encouraged to maintain their own health, disability, and property insurance.

Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. By using Zip Ride, you agree that we may collect and use your information as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes sharing ride details with drivers and staff to provide safe and reliable service.

Limits on Liability
We work hard to provide safe, reliable rides — but some things are outside our control.

“As Is”: Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Driver Conduct: We train and screen our drivers, but Zip Ride isn’t responsible for every act or omission by a driver.

Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by things outside our control (like weather, road closures, or emergencies).

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Zip Ride is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Disputes and Arbitration
Most issues can be resolved by contacting us at 1@myzipride.com. If we can’t work it out:

Arbitration: You agree that disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, not in court and not as part of a class action.

Exceptions: Small claims court cases, intellectual property disputes, or requests for injunctive relief are not required to go to arbitration.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive the right to a jury trial.

Other Terms
Changes: We may update these Terms by posting them on our website. Continued use means you accept the new Terms.

Choice of Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee (unless another state’s law must apply).

Severability: If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Assignment: You can’t transfer these Terms to someone else. We may assign them to another company if, for example, we merge or are acquired.

Zip Ride was built to make transportation inclusive, respectful, and dependable. By riding with us, you agree to follow these Terms so we can keep serving our community safely and reliably.
